Thanks for stopping by! Excited to share this card with you. Last week I shared the Valentine's card I made for my son and as promised this I am sharing the one I made for my daughter.

My daughter is almost 20 months old and although she may not be old to appreciate the handmade element she  will definitely not tolerate missing out on a Valentine when her brother gets one. "Mine" is one of her favourite words these days, or as she would pronounce it "MAH!" "MAH!"

I was lucky in that I was able to work my desire for an atypical Valentine's colour scheme in with the inspire.create challenge for this week. This weeks colour challenge is to use the following colours:

I love how this card turned out and can't wait to give it to her (then sneak it back to put in her scrapbook - lol).

How To:

Create the background for this card by watercolouring on shimmery white cardstock. I used a medium sized round brush and several layers to get this effect.

Once the background is dry (use the heat tool to speed up drying times), and heat emboss the treble clefs in gold.

The stamps used on this card come from Stampin' Up's NEW Music From The Heart stamp set.

The adorable piano is stamped in Early Espresso and coloured using Stampin' Up!'s Flirty Flamingo Stampin' Blends alcohol markers.

Die cut "Valentine" in gold foil with Stampin' Up!'s Word Wishes dies.
