Time for another inspire.create challenge! Today's challenge is a fun one! Fancy folds are an easy way to spice up your card. My fancy fold is a twist on an easel card.

My son has been participating in a theatre program this fall and Sunday was his performance. They did an adorable rendition of The Three Little Pigs. I wanted to give his director a fun card, so of course I used Stampin' Up's Little Piggy stamp set.

How To:

To make the base of the this card cut card stock to 11" x 4" and fold in half long side.

Score the front of the card diagonally from the fold to the top outer corner using the new and improved Stampin' Trimmer.

For the card front, cut Basic Grey card stock to 5 3/8" x 3 7/8".

The outer two embossed pieces (So Saffron and Crumb Cake are cut to 1 5/8" x 3 3/4" . The middle piece (Terracotta Tile) is cut to 1 3/4" x 3 3/4".

Emboss the so saffron piece with the subtle embossing folder, the terracotta tile piece with the brick and mortar embossing folder and the crumb cake piece with the hardwood embossing folder. One for each of the 3 little pigs homes.

Once you have glued the embossed pieces on to the Basic Grey backing piece, you need to cut it on the diagonal to match the score on your card base.

Adhere the two pieces to your card base

The leaves were die cut from Stampin' Up!'s Well Wishes dies in Granny Apple Green card stock and Noble Peacock foil. Be sure to only apply glue to the bottom edges as you don't want anything stuck down on both sides of your fancy fold.

The pigs were stamped in Memento black ink and coloured with various shades of pink stampin' blends then fussy cut. They are adhered using mini stampin' dimensionals. Again only adhere to the bottom half of the fold.

The inside sentiment die cut is popped up using dimensionals to keep the easel card standing when opened
