Happy Thanksgiving, fellow Canadians and Happy Monday to everyone else! Today I am sharing a Thanksgiving card using Stampin' Up!'s Daisy Lane Country Home stamp sets as well as Stampin' Up!'s two Daisy Punches.

Also, I am excited to be joining in for my first blog hop with Kylie Bertucci and the business demonstrators training team. This is is a phenomenal group of dedicated stampers who love sharing stamping with the world. I am excited to see all their great creations this month.

I put together today's project to make for a coffee & a card morning that I ran at our local Legion here in Aurora.

Daisy Lane / Country Home Handstamped Card<br/>

How To:

To make the 3D punch art flower, stamp 3 large flowers (from Stampin' Up!'s Daisy Lane stamp set in mango melody ink on mango melody card stock. Repeat this with 3 small flowers and punched them out using the coordinating Stampin' Up! Daisy punches. Gently curl the petals using a bone folder.

Punch the center pieces from early espresso and basic black card stock using the 1- 1/8" scalloped circle punch and 1/2" circle punch. Glue all the flower pieces together as per picture and set aside to dry. Make sure to spread your petals out so you can see each layer.

While the flower is drying, stamp the background image (from Stampin' Up!'s County Home stamp set) on a piece of 5.5 x 3" whisper white card stock. Use Crumb Cake ink and stamp off on scrap paper each time to get a lighter shade. I stamped three times on one side and flipped the paper and stamped three times on the opposite side. Don't worry if the images overlap in the middle, this will be covered.

Cut a DSP strip to 5.5 x 2" ( I used a strip from Stampin' Up!'s Woven Threads Designer Series Paper) and adhere to middle of stamped Whisper White piece.

Stamp the "Happy Harvest Blessings" sentiment in Memento Black ink on 4" x 1" strip of whisper white card stock. Punch the end of the strip with the Triple banner punch. Adhere to DSP piece.

Adhere white stamped layer to crumb cake card base (8" x 5.5" and folded in half so finished card measures 4" x 5.5").

Now that the flower is dry...use the piercing end of Stampin' Up's Take Your Pick Pool to poke hole in centre of the flower. Insert your choice of brad from Stampin' Up!'s Metallic brad assortment then adhere o card from using adhesive dots.
