Christmas Gleaming! The 2019 Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalogue is out for 2 weeks and I am starting to shift from Thanksgiving projects to Christmas ones. This inspire. create challenge seemed like the perfect time to make my first official Christmas Card of the season.

This week's challenge is a colour challenge!

The colours are not typical Christmas colours but I like atypical cards. I used the Christmas Gleaming stamp set and punch bundle to create this card. This set just screams heat embossing and watercolor to me.

The ornaments were heat embossed in silver and watercoloured before being punched out and popped up with dimensionals on the watercolour background.

Hot Tip for solid background sentiments: After stamping and fussy cutting use a Stampin' Write Marker and run in around the edges to hide the white edges and make it pop just a little more.

I hope this card gives you a little end of summer Christmas spirit! Be sure to check out the other inspiring cards by the rest of our design team and submit your own.

Happy Crafting!

All products used in the project can be purchased through my online store.

We're back with another inspire.create challenge! This week's challenge is a theme challenge!

For my project I chose to make a card using Stampin' Up's To A Wild Rose and Notes of Kindness stamp sets. I opted for a monochrome black, grey and white scheme for the with sympathy theme.

The sentiment is heat embossed in black and I used a blender pen on the stamped rose to give more dimension to the flower.

This card also uses Come Sail Away Designer series paper and Stampin' Up!;s Tufted embossing folder

Be sure to check out the other With Sympathy cards from our design team and submit one of your own!

I'm seeing a pattern in my choice card layout for the To A Wild Rose stamp set. You can see a Thank You card I made with this set here

Happy Stamping!
