Join me weekday mornings for my new Coffee & Craft Facebook Live series. This week we put together a cute treat box, painted a watercolour resist card, made a hand stamped card using the masking technique, checked out some new products, and played a "drinking" game.

You can check out the projects below , and I have shared the coffee & craft videos on my business page (click on the image to be taken to that video) so that you can catch up when you have the time.

Hi! Time again for another inspire. create challenge. This week we have a theme challenge for you!

I was really excited about this theme as my daughter just celebrated her first birthday and I was itching to get a scrapbook page done. Her birthday was a wild one theme with boho chic type decor. I talked a little bit about it in a past post here and shared a picture.

For this wild one birthday scrapbook page I used coordinating Stampin' Up! colours and tried to continue the theme. I liked the idea of giving the photo a boho peacock tail of sorts.

I used Stampin' Up!'s pinewood planks embossing folder on gold foil along the bottom of the page and the stitched nested labels dies to make the points in the fanned tail.

The felt flowers and hearts are from the Follow Your Art embellishment kit. Lots of stamped elements from the Rooted in Nature stamp set and coordinating dies.

Drop me a line if you have any questions about the supplies used in thus project. They are all available for purchase on my online store. (while supplies last).

Be sure to check out the other birthday themed projects created by our design team and get started creating one of your own!

Happy Stamping!

Welcome! I am excited to be hopping again with Scrapbooking Global's monthly blog hop. Thanks for stopping by! It has been a while since I have had the time and space to sit down and work on a layout.

The theme for July is travel.

I chose to do a Nova Scotia vacation scrapbook layout. I have so many pictures from trips with my children that I have yet to document. Although, not as many as I was hoping as I seem to have lost a bunch when my phone died last year :-( (a big reason to get your pictures printed and in albums!)

When my son was just under 2 years old we took a trip to Nova Scotia to visit family. This trip meant that my son would now have been coast to coast in Canada and visited all but 2 Canadian provinces and the territories. PEI and Newfoundland are on our bucket list. My daughter's first trip was also to the west coast so I would really like to get her to the east coast in the next year. It was so fun to walk on the ocean floor when the tide was out and dig for clams, mussels and all sorts of surprise crabs.

Anyhow, back to my scrapbook layout... the colours were inspired by Nova Scotia's flag.

Page Layout

For my Nova Scotia vacation scrapbook layout I used several products from Stampin' Up!'s Come Sail Away Suite, including the Memories & More Cards. I also used Stampin' Up!'s Under the Sea dies and Sea of Textures stamp set.

The lighthouse is heat embossed white on Poppy Parade Cardstock and the background label die was coloured with Pineapple Punch Stampin' Blends to get the shaded effect.

The red coral/seaweed was a specialty card from the Memories and more card which I sponged over on my white background first and then cut apart to stick behind my photos. You can see some of the peekaboo reverse sponging below. I also stamped a net in Night of Navy and some Artisan texture droplets in Pineapple punch to complete the background.

My title was coloured with Stampin' Blends, heat embossed in white and die cut.

I am quite pleased with how this my Nova Scotia vacation scrapbook layout turned out and I hope you've been inspired to add some more artistic elements to your pages!

Be sure to keep hopping and visit the rest of the layouts featured today. Next up is Heike Hulle-Bolze

Time for another inspire.create stamping challenge! This week's challenge is a sketch challenge.

I was challenged by the circle, in wanting to do something a little different from what I had tried before. My mosaic mood thank you card was inspired by the package of Stampin' Up!'s Mosaic Mood Specialty Designer Series Paper I wanted to play with. I pulled that out and noticed the arcs on several of the sheets.

This paper lends itself well to fussy cutting and after a bit of arranging I had my card!

I used Stampin' Up!'s Artisan Textures stamp set to make the background and added some embellishments to brighten the card up! This paper is fabulously glossy!
