Another Inspire. Create. Challenge is upon us! This week's challenge is a colour challenge using the Stampin' Up's new 2019-2021 In-Colours!

I am in need of some Thank You cards so I opted to create some atypical in-colour Thank You Cards using Stampin' Up!'s Lined Alphabet, Rooted in Nature and Sailing Home stamp sets.

I created two in-colour thank you cards, one featuring Pretty Peacock and another Seaside Spray.

The "thank" letters were watercoloured on shimmery white cardstock with ink refills and the "you" was heat embossed on vellum with the new shimmery black embossing powder.

I used Stampin' Blends to colour in the Sailing Away images and then embossed them with the subtle embossing folder to add texture. The background is also embossed with the High Seas folder for extra depth.

I hope you enjoyed my in-colour thank you cards. Be sure to check out the other in-colour projects by the rest of the design team and submit your own creation for the challenge. I always love seeing what you all do with these!

All supplies used to make these cards can be purchased (while supplies last) through my online store.

Craft Room Makeover!

in , , by Nature Gibner - Ink N Inspiration, 06:42

Hi friends! Really excited to be sharing my craft room makeover with you today. My new craft room is renovated and I have been getting down to business creating new projects to share with you all.

I posted the before pictures of my room on an earlier post. You can find that here. We moved into a new house June 1st and the room that is now my craft/office space was a storage/furnace room full of cobwebs, bugs and debris. Without further ado, I present the "finished" room (is it ever really finished?? lol)!

Of note: The only thing I purchased for this craft room makeover were the new flooring and new office chair, both I got on sale! :-). Everything else I already owned and re-purposed for the room.

I hope you were inspired by my craft room makeover. I'm waiting on some more storage cubes that were on back order before my desktop is complete. So I will do a close up of my desk once they have all arrived next week. In the meantime feel free, to shoot me a message if you have any questions about anything you see in my room.

Happy Stamping!

Change, Change and More Change!

I hope you are having a wonderful start to June! So much is changing in my world so I thought I would share! But before I do...there is one super important change I must share with you...The new Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue has been released!!!! You can now shop from a TON of exciting new stamp sets, inks designer series papers and more! You can browse the new catalogue in PDF below and then shop my store!

I have already put a few orders in for new products and am excited to share more projects with you. I'm even more stoked because I will be making them in my new craft room!!! No more kitchen crafting!

This past week has been busy as we moved to a beautiful new home in Aurora, ON and between moving and unpacking I was also getting organized for my daughter's 1st birthday and her first birthday party as well as renovating a room in the new house to use as my craft room/office.

Thankfully I pulled it all together and Miss C's birthday and party were lovely. Here is a picture of her and her first cake.

For my son's first birthday I custom stamped all his party decor but having two kids now, and the move, most of my daughter's decor was store bought. I did use my Stampin' Up! supplies to make her a custom 12 month photo banner and a card which both coordinated with the party stuff I bought though!. I will share those projects with you later ;-)

Speaking of things to share later...If you are wondering about the craft room renovations I am going to do a reveal post once my space is all put together. However I will share the before pictures with you now. The space is originally a storage/furnace room and when we moved in was covered in cobwebs, bugs and full of leaves that had blown in from open ducts.

Pre emptying. You can see the open ducts where everything came in.

My son was too creeped out by the cobwebs, bugs and dirt to come in the room.

Furnace corner. Here you get a sneak peak at the flooring going in..

I am really happy with how the space has come along and itching to show you the finished pictures!

Another new change, is that I am going to start holding in person classes again with super simple stamping projects! My first class will be June 22nd. Get in touch with me for details.

Happy Stampin'
