Welcome to another inspire.create stamping challenge! This week's challenge is a sketch challenge!

My layout uses the Floral Romance Suite and Designer Series Paper. These papers are beautiful and include specialty vellum sheets.

This layout is quite simple and easy to recreate. I chose the sentiment and photo as they reflect my son's persistence in learning to use his left hand for simple daily tasks, which due to issues I won't get into here, he has always struggled to do.

Colour Combination

The second strip on this page uses one of the specialty vellum sheets as does the leaves and flowers which I fussy cut and adhered under the Floral Romance Seal. See below for a complete list of supplies.

Be sure to check out the cards by the other design team members and submit your own project for this sketch!

Happy Stamping!

Welcome to another inspire.create challenge! This week's challenge is a colour challenge.

These colours just happenned to be featured in Stampin' Up's Happiness Blooms suite from the new Occasions Catalogue.

I actually had another layout planned using the Happiness Blooms Designer Series Paper, but somehow I managed to forget to add it to my order. So... Plan B! I came across another Creative Scrapbooker sketch which inspired this layout and used Stampin' Up's Happiness Blooms Memories & More Card Pack. I took some liberties with the sketch to better show off the stitching I added to my page.

hello sunshine

The Happiness Blooms suite was perfect to show off this photo of my son admiring our tulips one spring a couple years ago.

Stampin' Up's Happiness Blooms Memories and More Card pack features many specialty finishes which add nice shimmer and texture to projects, as well as coordinating adhesive die cuts.

My "sunshine" die cuts were coloured with Stampin' Blends in Lovely Lipstick and Pineapple Punch

hello sunshine

I decided to try my luck with some hand stitching. Using Stampin' Up's Take Your Pick Tool and the Stampin' Pierce mat I poked holes around 3 circles which I had traced with a pot lid. I then used the small scoring ball end of the tool to poke ribbon through the holes and stitch my page.

hello sunshine

The Memories and More cards are cut using the Stitched Shape framelits dies. I used the Happiness Blooms enamel dots and Wink of Stella for a little extra sparkle to finish off my page

I hope you found some inspiration in this layout. Be sure to check out the rest of the projects from the inspire.create design team and submit your own creation for the challenge.

Happy Stamping!
