This Christmas Wreath

Here is my the Christmas version of the wreath I had made for Halloween. I love how easy it was to coordinate the Stampin' Up! designer series paper with the cardstock I needed for the pine needles and berries and ribbon. It looks lovely hanging above the fireplace in my craft space (Our Christmas tree décor may have been inspired by it.... #everythinglooksbetteringoldandgreen)Christmas WreathChristmas WreathChristmas Wreath

Christmas is coming! Life is super busy these days, but exciting nonetheless. My first craft show was successful, I considered doing more shows, but at this stage in life I am focusing on being a mom first, so additional craft shows will have to wait until next year. This is my son's second Christmas, but it will be his first where he will really be taking things in and getting excited about all the new Christmas-y décor and festivities.   As we count down to Christmas, I thought I'd share one of the pieces I made for the show. I only had time to make one, but received  an order for another for a gift, so am in the process of making another (well, two actually, because I want one for us!) This is a reusable and reversible advent calendar. Each pocket contains a treat and once emptied you flip the pocket over. By Christmas Eve the reversed pockets spell out a special Christmas message.  This version was made using Stampin' Up!  Presents and Pinecones Designer Series Paper and washi tape and the numbers were made using their gold foil .  **Can you spot the oops! in the first picture below?advent calendaradvent calendaradvent calendar
