Today’s Cheers! Happy Birthday card was inspired by one of my cousin’s who celebrated her birthday this week. She is a wine aficionado and the Mixed Drinks stamp set was perfect for her handmade birthday card!

I chose Berry Burst as the primary colour for the card as it reminded me of red wine.  The sentiment on the inside of the card reads: “Here’s to your amazingness”

Fun tip: in order to make the wine glasses appear “glassy” use the Fine Tip Glue Pen to fill them in after stamping. Be sure to allow PLENTY of time to dry. You can use your heat tool to help speed up the process.

To adhere the “Happy Birthday” cut out I used the NEW adhesive sheets. My first attempt was a bit of a mishap – don’t use the 2nd method listed on the instruction page for intricate pieces – I ended up with a spider web of a mess when I peeled it off. My second go round I used the first method listed and cut out the die after adhering the silver foil cardstock to the adhesive sheet and this worked BRILLIANTLY!
