Baby Bonanza - Welcome Baby Fancy Fold Card
Welcome to Day Three of my Baby Bonanza! This past Autumn I had the opportunity to enter several of my paper crafting projects in a local fall fair. The theme for the fair last year was baby! I have already shared one of those projects with you.....a slider shaker card for baby which you can check out here. That card won first place in its category (all credit to Stampin' Up! for making such wonderful products to work with)!
I thought that I would share the rest of my baby projects with you in a baby bonanza! In addition to this Welcome Baby Fancy Fold card, I also have 2 more cards, a gift box and a hand stamped gift tag. They are all quite different. By the end you can find them all here:
My Welcome Baby fancy fold card feature Stampin' Up!'s Animal Outing Suite and Pick a Pennant Bundle. I used the dies to cut the animals out of the designer series paper and then added die cuts, punched shapes and other embellishments in coordinating colours. You can see the card from various angles below. This card won first place in its category (Thank you SU!)
The base for this card measures 5.5 x 12.75". I used to pieces of cardstock (5.5 x 8.5 and 5.5 x 4.75) On the smaller piece (back/inside of card) I scored it at 4.25" in the shorter side and adhered it to the larger piece.
The larger piece is scored at 4.25" and 2 1/8" to create the front and smaller easel section
Even the inside of the card is whimsical thanks to this fabulous designer series paper!!
If you look closely you can make out where the two pieces of base cardstock are joined at the bottom under the DSP.
I had a lot of fun making this card! Please comment below or message me if you have questions about any of the supplies I used. All the products used to make this card can be purchased (while supplies last) in my online store.
